The Czech Athletics Federation required a web portal that met modern user-friendliness and content management standards. The original website was outdated, with inefficient search capabilities and a complicated content management system. To address these challenges, it was necessary to completely restructure the portal, redesign the site, and upgrade the underlying technology.
Three of our divisions across MFG collaborated on this project. Experts from Minion Interactive led the portal redesign, MEDIA FACTORY developers optimized data flow, and the Search Ready team implemented intelligent search functionality for the new site.
Elevating the user experience and upgrading the technology were the cornerstones of this project. The old portal required a complete rebuild, which we facilitated through an agile methodology that included regular client consultations. This approach accelerated the development cycle, ensuring everything was clarified on time, minimizing the need for ad-hoc changes.
The new portal was designed to be user-centric and aligned with the Czech Athletics Federation's visual identity. The most significant technical challenge was migrating data from the old portal. Still, our developers resolved this within a few days. We adopted a phased approach, allowing the client to test the portal continuously. Regular meetings ensured issues were promptly identified and addressed, resulting in a tailored solution that met all client needs.
The new Atletika.cz portal provides faster, more intuitive access to information for both members and the public. The improved content management system enables the Czech Athletics Federation's staff to update the site independently and with ease. The implemented Search Ready search engine delivers fast, accurate search results, significantly enhancing the user experience. The client particularly appreciated the efficient communication during our regular status meetings, allowing us to create a first-class web portal jointly.
The brainstorming during our regular standups gave us a clearer vision of the final product and significantly refined and improved the design of various parts and modules.
